Day 18 - What's your passion?
I Googled passion and it is defined as a strong feeling or emotion. So in other words, the question is asking me about stuff that I do with strong feelings/ emotion. Emm. My passion is laughing. :D Seriously. I usually find the funny side of things and sometimes people wouldn't understand why something is so funny to me. In prettier words, my passion is being happy :) I laugh like a horse, sometimes like an elephant. I know it's kind of improper for a young lady to laugh like a hyena. I know I know. Nda payah kasi lecture sya pasal etiquettes. When I find something really funny I laugh my intestines out. Why? Because I don't feel I'm doing it right if I just giggle like a shy lady. Macam kentut yang tertahan. Apa barang mo tahan-tahan, bikin sakit perut. Mo kasi keluar semua baru ada ummph. Eh. Bapa sya baca ni blog so sya kena control sikit. -___-"
*clears throat* Yes I know, I sound like a savage. Hey, I know how to keep it in check also maa. If I'm with my momma or daddy's friends, I laugh and smile politely you know. Heh. At least I think it's my most polite laugh/smile. Oh well, selama ni belum pernah kena marah momma or daddy yet, so kira ok la XD
Oh! I 'm not encouraging you all to laugh like me! No, not at all. I mean, you can and you should be happy and express it but agak2 juga la hor. Nanti kesian juga your parents if you behave ngokngek-ly. Kan? Buat malu dorang seja. Tapi bila di rumah, ketawa la sehappy yang boleh. BUT BUT BUT, no need to laugh loudly just to minta puji. That is so gross and minta puji. Real uncool.
And as you most probably can deduce from my past entries, putting my feelings into written words is also a passion of mine :)
Day 19 - Write a letter to yourself stating all the things you love about yourself.
Hoho! This can get a little nauseating. So uhh, you are most welcome to excuse yourself from my blog or just skip to the next entry. XD
Dearest Elisa,
you know that I love you. Yea, you've gained much weight but in essence you're still you. I love the fact that you try hard to have a very close and personal relationship with God eventhough you are still scavenging the bits and pieces of the clues that were peppered throughout life to get closer to Him.
I am thoroughly in love with your stand in always placing your family as your priority. I would like to see more initiative in helping your little brother out in this tricky stage of life though. I love the fact that you try to find the silver lining in each cloud. I love the way you rely on God when you really can't find any silver lining among those scary storm clouds.
I love the fact that when you're down, you'd look around you for stuff to cheer you up and you always find one. I am also thoroughly in love with your big hopes and dreams for your future. Oh and I love the way you always demand to do and look your best in whatever you have.
Above all these, I just love the way you love me. I ultimately love the fact that you are the best Elisa that was ever lovingly created by God. You are special in every way. Let's continue loving each other, hokay? :)
Lots of love,
The Inner Elisa
Day 20 - Does love = sex?
Duhh. NO.
I love the nature. Does that kind of love = sex? Nope. Boo you closed minded people.
Hah! Right on time. Since Valentine's day is approaching I want to have my say in this matter too. *pumped up* I guess everybody knows that Valentine's Day is associated with the rise of negative stuff. And some sides are connecting these immoral acts with the Christian teaching. Dude~! Memanas juga la. Hadoi. In my 20 years as a Christian, never once did I come across any verse in the Holy Bible nor any other books that encourages this immoral acts. I find it quite absurd why the first thought that springs to the minds of these people when it comes to ways to celebrate Valentine's Day is by having pre-marital sex and other negative stuff. I hope people realize that Valentine's Day is not a Christian celebration, it's a Western tradition. I bet they didn't know that though. Odoi ku podii diau. Don't say things you're not sure of.
First of all, Valentine's Day is not only for lovers out there. It's a day where we do our best to show our love and appreciation to our loved ones. You don't have other loved ones besides your boy/girlfriend meh? And again we come to the question, does love = sex? Jawabla sendiri.
Ya, I know the world is making an industry especially for that day. And you're saying that it's unfair that the price flowers, cards and chocolates are doubled. That's wrong I admit. But aiyoo, gaman. Kalau tiada duit, no need la to sonsog go buy ba. Don't you know that a simple meal prepared by yourself is worth much more than all the roses in the world? Don't you know that a heartfelt ' I love you' said is sweeter than all the chocolates made? Don't you know that a handmade card given to a parent from a child perfumed with baby powder is worth much more than all the Hallmark cards? Didn't you know that?
If you can only define love as a child defines it, then this issue would have never been heard of.
Instead, you decide to define love in a perverted way. I pray one day that you will be able to not only define but feel and recognize real innocent love when it comes your way :)
p/s: if you don't want to celebrate Valentine's Day, then no need la ba. Tiada juga orang marah itu. Kalau dorang marah ko nda celebrate ko kasi tau sya, sya tulung pi cakap. Provided that you don't condemn others who celebrate it la :)
